Travel fellowships to attend ISOT 2024
The Board of ECRO and the organizers of ISOT 2024 invite applications for Travel Fellowships to attend ISOT 2024.
How much?
ISK 75,000, which is currently ~EUR 500 or ~USD 545 or JPN 82,000.
Who can apply?
-
Early-career scientists,
defined as scientists at any career stage from undergraduate student to a first independent position such as a research group leader or assistant professor.
and/or
-
Scientists from underrepresented countries,
defined as scientists working in countries of Categories I-II-III by the Society for Neuroscience.
What must an application contain?
- Curriculum vitae.
- Supporting letter from supervisor or department head or equivalent.
- Accepted abstract for ISOT 2024.
Put together the documents in the order 1-2-3 as a single assembled PDF. Label the file as lastname.firstname.pdf. If you have multiple last or first names, choose one. Text within the body of the email is not regarded as part of the application and will therefore not be reviewed.

What is the timeline?
The closing date for applications is 31 May 2024.
Applications will be reviewed periodically, and successful applicants informed on an ongoing basis. There is no fixed number of travel fellowships set aside for ISOT 2024.
