Grant Support for ECRO 2019

ECRO actively supports young researchers and provides travel grants to attend the annual ECRO meeting.

In addition, this year the ECRO 2019 organizers got the opportunity via the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) to support in particular participants from developing countries to attend the ECRO meeting.

ICTP Grants

Scientists from developing countries, particularly those at the early stages of their career, can apply for ICTP grants to support their participation. Grants can cover local costs and/or travel costs. ICTP encourages the participation of female scientists.

ECRO Travel Grant

ECRO Travel Support (supported by ECRO members and the Polak Foundation)

 

ECRO actively supports young researchers and provides travel grants to attend the annual ECRO meeting  and other scientific events in the field of Olfaction and Taste. Please follow the link for guidelines to apply.

AChemS Travel Grant

AChemS offers and invites you to apply for the AChemS ECRO travel grant. The grant is intended to help defray travel expenses to the ECRO meeting in Trieste, Italy from September 11-14, 2019. Up to two travel grants will be awarded in the form of a reimbursement, up to $2000. Original receipts will be required.

APPLICANTS MUST: 

  • Be Current AChemS members (graduate student, postdoc or regular) within 10 years of their degree who work in North America.
  • Submit a copy of their ECRO abstract submission.
  • Submit their current NIH style biosketch.
  • Submit a cover letter explaining the financial need of the travel grant.

A graduate student or postdoc applicant must also provide a letter of support from his/her advisor.
